The Sanger Controversy
Note: I got the photo on this site from a JerseyGirl Comment, and of course some of the comments were on this site before. But I decided to expand it. I think this all would be good info for those who are info challenged - to send to others.
Who is in the above photo with the KKK? It is allegedly Margaret Sanger. Who? The founder of Planned Parenthood. Is the above photo real? I have no idea. I can modify photos also. However, in her own writings Margaret Sanger did say she met with the KKK - KKK women. She even said it was quite a clandestine affair.
Some say Margaret Sanger was racist. Some say that the number of Black abortions is 3 to 4 times higher than whites and furthermore that was planned. Some Black people are ballistic about that. Some other Black people believe whatever their party says, like the Mother Jones "fact check site" (the sound you hear is my eyes rolling) that gives the idea of Planned Parenthood racism the lowest possible score. The lowest possible? "Me Thinks the Lady doth protest too much".
If this were not enough to make one think, Sanger was also into eugenics. That is the science that says if the speaker thinks anyone is useless on the planet, they should just be killed and disposed of so not as to get in their way. A number of people on the planet have been into eugenics. I would include Mao who is claimed to have killed 40 million of his people and then said something like "we can afford to lose a few". Then there was Hitler and the Jews. Then I think someone on Obama's staff (John Holdren? Cass Sunstein? both?). And even people whom we might think seem innocent like playwright George Bernard Shaw who thought useless people should be killed, but humanely.
HILARY CLINTON OPINION
I heard once that Hilary Clinton said that she admired much but not all of Margaret Sanger. Which are the parts that you do not admire Hilary? That she was a racist and a eugenics freak? Of course Hilary did not say where she drew the line. However, I will give Hilary a bit of credit for at least drawing some line.
I am not certain if Margaret Sanger was racist or not. But I think the case is strong enough such that I just am not interested in an autographed picture of her. As for those who worship Planned Parenthood, I say, "start without me, would you?"
WHY SEND THIS
It seems few know this story. See? Now when you are bored you can google "Margaret Sanger racist" or "black abortion rates higher than whites" and read it all for yourself. As for me, this gave me something to do this afternoon. Since like many Americans I am an isolationist, I will neither picket planned parenthood nor support it. But if someone tells me how great it is, I will in fact look at them as if they forgot to dress this morning.
Hope all is well.
