Hope JG forgives me for the title.

For those old people like me who wanted to see the the Musical Play Jersey Boys (about the Four Seasons song group) but it never comes to their podunk town (or mine either) cheer up.  It is going to be made into a movie.  That is only part of the good news.  The other part is that the Director will be Clint Eastwood and it is expected to be for release in June 2014.  What could make the new year nicer?  I know, Obama retiring.  Well, and this is maybe way lower than that, but some of us will see this as good news.

Who Knew Clint could sing?

"Do re Me ... la la la.... Do you feel Lucky?..... Oh, Yeah, Yeah, Baby".

"You can count on me .... Did you count 9 or 10 shots? ... la la la"

Well maybe Directors do not have to sing.

Hey, should this not be Joisey Boys?

How does this match the site?  This might be the only thing still in America Obama has not yet destroyed.  I intend to savor it.  I think when someone is very popular, such as Clint Eastwood, Charles Krauthammer, or the Duck Dynasty, the White House gets confused and does not know how to attack.

Lots of singers came from my state! Sinatra, Springsteen (who I can't stand) he always looks like he is constipated when he sings! LOL  Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons. The Four Seasons had a unique sound! Oh and "Joisey" is how they say it up north! Ask Ruthie! I don't say it that way! We have our own way of speaking down south in the state. Hehe  I thought this was kinda cute below!

Hudson County (Progressiveland) says "Joisey".  Robin don't forget the "Duprees " who started out in Jersey City in the early 60's.

1962 You Belong To Me · 1962 My Own True Love · 1963 Gone With The Wind · 1963 Take Me As I Am · 1963 Why Don't You Believe Me · 1963 Have You Heard · 1963 Love Eyes · 1963 It's No Sin · 1963 The Sand And The Sea · 1964 It Isn't Fair · 1966 Let Them Talk · 1966 Exodus

Well, I would agree with you Robin that Sinatra and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are big guns and Brucey is somewhat... well.. an also ran for my tastes.  The Duprees I believe I also liked.

I have seen Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons in concert at least twice, but I am thinking three times.  The first time was I believe the original group and they followed the Detroit Wheels (great) who followed Question Mark and the Mysterians (whom the audience laughed at).  But Mitch Ryder and the Detroit wheels had much pomp and ceremony and indeed were good.  But then they were followed by the Four Seasons of the time who just pulled a few guitar amps and guitars on stage in the middle of Detroit Wheels pomp and played ... well... beyond great.

My wife and I also saw Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons at a local Southern Cal Indian Casino theater.  Frankie still sings great and is quite a showman.  I think he was the only original still left.  And he had like 7 Seasons, ha ha.  And he said his main helper was the organist.  Odd.  I do not think the original four seasons had an organists.  This guy is new, or at least, newer.  But great stuff.

As for Sinatra, what can I say?  Yes, the rat pack and all.  But if someone were to ask my opinion of the greatest male singer of all time, it could be him - my opinion.  As for Brucey, I don't know, and that is as far as I will go.

RN, no need for forgiveness for that title!  Thanks for the mention!
