"The Joy of Hate" - by Greg Gutfeld
Greg Gutfeld - if that is his real name - is the author of the book "The Joy of Hate". He is also the sometimes bright sometimes witty host of the Fox News show "Red Eye". He is also a member of the Fox News show "The Five". He is also sometimes a guest on the Bill O Reilly show when Bill worries that even though Bill is always correct, some people under the age of 96 might find him dry and well, old seeming. Since no one can figure out what a Gutfeld is, he is neither old, nor young and some suspect he never really evolved completely into the life form of humanity. That makes him "fresh" seeming. But none of those are the reason for reading the book. They do however give him a style that like Columbo the detective, allows him to get very deep into a subject without ever appearing "preachy".
Unlike the sheltered life I have led away from liberals, Greg Gutfeld was deep into the mire where liberals preside. He was born later than me, which is a factor, then he went to liberal schools including Berkeley College where being a non liberal seemed to be their method of flunking out non desirables. He went from there to work in media for some liberals including Arianna at the Huffington Post. And it was only after being in the middle of millions of liberals that he one day found Andrew Breitbart and Fox News. And so, he has many stories of what liberals really think and how they act. And that becomes.. ... the real book.
I really do not want to simply repeat what Gutfeld says in his book. But he uses the words "tolerant" and "intolerant" in manners that made me see just how bad things really are - and how mad the world of liberals really is. But it was also scary. He speaks of several people who have lost their careers from a single "tweet" that bothered the sensibilities of liberals. And that "power" and extremism, I found very "bothersome".
In any manner, I highly recommend reading the book.
