I sent it out to all my email address.  I was told that a confirmation of my email address was needed and to check my mail box.  I did but didn't receive the notice until this morning.  

I tried clicking on the link but it will not work.  I have aol and not sure this is the reason why or if others are having the same problem.

 I know of others I had sent this too who told me they also signed it.  Just wondering if there is a problem with the petition or have the Dems interfered somehow. I would put nothing past them.

I don't think it's counting signatures.  I just signed it too, and it's still showing only 1 vote.

Unless I follow the link in the post, I cannot find the petition.  I started at the root WH address and selected petitions and the Soros petition does not show up. Strange!

And a little research provides the answer.

When a petition is first created, only the petition creator will have the URL of the petition. It’s up to the petition creator to share the petition (and URL) with others who care about the issue to build support and gather more signatures. Once your petition is published, you can use the share icons on the page to easily send the petition via email and your social networks. Once a petition gathers the minimum number of signatures, it will be findable on the We the People platform.
