Happy Saturday!

In case you missed it—Heritage Action made a big announcement this week! You can read the full press release here.

Heritage Action will spend $2.5 million and back 12 candidates this November. Heritage Action released the following statement from Executive Director Tim Chapman:

This fall, Heritage Action is investing resources in 12 key congressional races across the country. We believe our organization is uniquely positioned to protect conservative seats in Congress and preserve the Republican majority. This effort will enable Heritage Action to effectively leverage our grassroots and government relations efforts to fulfill our core mission—enacting conservative policy into law.

Heritage Action in the News

Highlights from the Hill

  • The Senate Judiciary Committee announced the dates for Judge Kavanaugh’s SCOTUS hearing yesterday. Heritage Action Executive Director Tim Chapman said, “It's time Senate Democrats end their charade and give his nomination the seriousness it deserves." You can read the full statement here.

Looking Forward

  • The Senate comes back from recess next week, but House members are still home in their districts until September 4th.
  • Immigration will be a hot topic once again in September thanks to the DHS spending bill. We’ve updated our immigration toolkit with what you need to know.
  • The Farm Bill is still in conference—it is expected to receive a vote this September.

Action Items

  • It’s all about more jobs and bigger paychecks! Thanks to last year’s Republican Tax Cuts, Americans have more money in their pockets, unemployment is down, and the labor force is strong. But all of this economic progress is in serious jeopardy if we lose the House this November.
  • Voters need to remember the benefits of tax cuts before they vote. Please send your friends and family to www.taxesandjobs.com so they can see how much they are saving THIS YEAR.

Can't wait to see the circus the Dems put on during the Kavanaugh hearings. Remember what they did to Clarence Thomas?

I remember Bork!
