It’s all working. Business Optimism SOARS to Highest Level in History, Tops REAGAN ERA. ⁦@realDonaldTrump⁩’s plan is Making America Great Again. Remember that in November. #maga

The United States economy continued to roar to life under President Trump and the Republican-controlled Congress in August, with new data showing small business optimism smashing expectations and reaching the highest level in recorded history.

According to CNBC, the NFIB Small Business Optimism Index surged to 108.8 last month; reaching the highest level in the survey’s 45-year history and beating the previous record reached under President Reagan at 108 in 1983.

“The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index jumped to 108.8 last month, the highest level ever recorded in the survey’s 45-year history and above the previous record of 108 in 1983, set during the second year of Ronald Reagan’s presidency. The August figure was up from a 107.9 reading in July,” writes CNBC.

“Today’s groundbreaking numbers are demonstrative of what I’m hearing everyday from small business owners – that business is booming,” said the NFIB President and CEO. “As the tax and regulatory landscape changed, so did small business expectations and plans.”

More great news! WOW!

 U.S. Job Openings Hit Record High

President Trump’s economy continues to soar: a new report released on Tuesday from the Labor Department stated that in July, U.S. job openings jumped to a new record and the biggest share of workers since 2001 quit their jobs.

As Bloomberg reported, “Job postings exceeded the number of unemployed people by 659,000 in July, the most in data back to 2000. Along with the number of quitters, the gap helps explain why wages rose in August at the fastest pace since 2009, as employers struggle to find qualified workers and Americans become more confident in leaving their jobs for better pay elsewhere.”

The quits rate increased substantially because the share of private-sector employees deciding pastures were greener elsewhere climbed to 2.7%, the highest since 2001. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell pointed out that the quits rate suggested the economy is near full employment.

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) reported that 38% of U.S. small businesses could not fill their job openings in August; that was the highest percentage since 1973. The NFIB also stated that its Small Business Optimism Index jumped to 108.8 in August, the highest level ever recorded in the survey's 45-year history.

All good news!  Something I’m seeing in this perpetually economically oppressed region of NY is some difficulty filling entry-level positions.  I think this is because more better paying or full time jobs are out there.  I come only with opinion. (;

Economy on fire, and, all we hear is Trump trashing. In the end, the truth will come out on all those corrupt critters in our government.
