The FBI late Sunday night released additional documents related to the investigation into Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server, posting the information on its website and doing so without sending out a release or announcing the move.

  • The documents can be found in full on the FBI site and, contain information regarding the FBI's investigation into Clinton after it received computer hardware and additional emails from Clinton’s lawyers.

There are five sets of documents on the FBI site. In the first one, the FBI states that it found "that hostile foreign actors successfully gained access to the personal email accounts of individuals associated with whom Clinton was in regular contact and, in doing so, obtained emails sent to or received by Clinton on her personal account."

The first set also states that, of 940 e-mails associated with Clinton’s personal account from October 25, 2010 to Dec. 31, 2010, 56 have been identified as currently at the confidential level. Additionally, 302 of the 940 emails identified in the Gmail account were not found in the set of emails produced to the State Department in 2014. One of those 302 emails were classified as secret.

LawNewz reports that the documents appear to focus on computer hardware the agency obtained during the probe and communications between the State Department and law enforcement over whether documents included in the emails were classified.

I wonder why the Democrats are so concerned about AG nominee Sessions ?

This article from the NY Times explains their concerns.

NY Times

Excerpt:

If anyone requires a thorough vetting, it’s Mr. Sessions, the Republican senator from Alabama who trails behind him a toxic cloud of hostility to racial equality, voting rights, women’s rights, criminal justice reform and other issues at the heart of the Justice Department’s mandate. Yet in their eagerness to act on his nomination, Senate Republicans seem unconcerned that Mr. Sessions, who has made appropriate financial disclosures, has failed to turn over dozens — possibly hundreds — of documents that the committee specifically requests in its standard questionnaire, including transcripts of speeches, interviews, opinion pieces and other public remarks.

I am certainly happy that I did not stub my toe 40 years ago.  The democrats might just hold it against me or worse, make me prove that I pay closer attention and that my motor skills have improved.  Once a "conservative" commits an error in the eyes of a progressive, it is cast in stone because everyone knows that "conservatives" cannot learn or change and are just barely human in the political sense.

Seems obvious they fear an AG who will pursue Obstruction of Justice and Contempt of Congress.

I hope President Trump will bring about Clinton's plea bargain, wherein she pleads guilty to avoid the ordeal of public trial---and then pardons her after she admits guilt, so as to prove he's not the vulgar, woman demonizer she tried to make him out to be.

Nixon, whom Clinton helped to run out of Office, established that accepting a Presidential pardon in and of itself constitutes admission of guilt---whether one be charged with crime or not, or whether or not one previously admitted to crime.

We'll see how it shakes out---the Clinton Foundation not to be forgotten.

They do fear a man that will follow the law. There is so much work ahead of him after the last 8 years of a lawless AG!  10 days to go! I can't wait.

Maybe because they are afraid he just may prosecute criminals. Good!

Thanks, Kwic! :)

You are welcome Robin. :-)
