DOD Plans to Shrink #USArmy to Pre-WWII Levels

Posted on February 24, 2014 at 12:34pm 17 Comments

The Department of Defense proposal is said to call for plans to shrink the Army to its smallest force since 1940. Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, is expected to propose cutting the size of the Army from 490,000 active-duty members to between 440,000 – 450,000. This would be down from a 570,000 peak after September 11th, 2001. It also includes other…

Military Families Getting Shafted Overseas?

Posted on October 16, 2013 at 3:06pm 6 Comments

I have been friends with Vanessa for over 20 years now. She recently got married. Her husband is in the Navy and is currently deployed. She has been living in Japan for a few months.

Unfortunately, not only is she dealing with being away from her new husband, but she and other spouses/families have been dealing with disgusting conditions in the base’s commissary since before the government shutdown even happened.

Nation's Largest Gun-Seller Cut Off by Anti-Gun Credit Card Company

Posted on October 1, 2013 at 11:50am 3 Comments

Authorize.net/CyberSource, which is a subsidiary of Visa, cited “the sale of firearms or any similar product” as the reason for ceasing its business relationship with Hyatt Gun Shop of North Carolina.

Hyatt Gun Shop is the nation’s largest gun seller. However, when they signed a service agreement with Authorize.net FOUR years ago, the folks over at Authorize.net had some sort of brain malfunction, causing them to not realize the name and type of business they were entering into a…

Cruz Control

Yesterday, at 2:41 pm EST, Senator Ted Cruz took to the Senate floor to fight for the American people. He went on for over 20 hours, without a teleprompter, and with the support of other senators who aim to make Washington DC listen to Americans. These included Senator Mike Lee, Senator Rand Paul, Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Jeff Sessions, Senator Pat Roberts, Senator James Inhofe and Senator David Vitter.

Senator Cruz read tweets from Americans who showed their support and…

Yes, It did clarify!  Thank you!  I should have known, this administration is constantly playing fast and loose with facts and figures!  I was appalled to learn that schools in NY state want every household to apply for free or reduced lunches.  Their allotment for this is based on the number of applicants, not the number who actually qualify!  That is not new to this administration, though.  That has been the policy for as long as I live her, nearly two decades.  Figures the state is broke!

As to the churches, my friend, I pray that they speak out.  The leaders do not like how I see it, and try and deny it.  Jesus would not sacrifice his principles for money, but churches do all the time, and they do not like to have that pointed out.  I know this!

You're so very welcome my friend! I can't imagine how your whole family must have felt through all of that! I can't imagine what that kind of thing does to a family. Your article really touched my heart. Now I understand and can feel your passion! I pray that we can stop it from happening here and turn this country around! I will not give up, ever! You are one awesome Patriot and friend and I appreciate you! :)
