While a number of other promises have yet to come to fruition, such as the construction of a border wall and repealing and replacing Obamacare, cutting the bureaucracy in D.C. has been right up 45’s alley.
In fact, 11,000 employees from the federal government are now gone.
The Trump administration has shed nearly 11,000 federal employees during its first six months, reversing a two year trend of gains throughout the executive branch.
Barack Obama continued to add employees to the government during his tumultuous eight-year run while Trump slashes.
That is undoubtedly one of the main reasons he was elected.
