~ Where the Sun Will Never Set on Our liberty ~
I hope you feel the warmth of God's hands on your heart as it heals.
So Sorry my friend. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
No matter how old we are, losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But her goodness, her caring, and her wisdom live on, like a legacy of love that will always be with you.
God Bless you, Shad!
Losing my mother was the toughest thing I have ever dealt with. The pain of loss never really goes away, but I know I am so very fortunate to have had a woman such as her as my mother. I can imagine your mother held as special of a place with you as mine did with me. You and yours will be in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless friend.
I am not very good with emotive language, but I searched and found a poem that you may appreciate as much as I did when I read it. I hope this helps you heal in your hard times ahead.
Mothers Who are No Longer Among Us

In tears we saw you sinking,
And watched you pass away.
Our hearts were almost broken,
We wanted you to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
So peaceful, free from pain,
How could we wish you back with us,
To suffer that again.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.
If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
Don't think of her as gone away
Her journey's just begun
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one
Just think of her as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years
Think how she must be wishing
That we could know, today
Now nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away
And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And she is loved so very much
We are here for you Shadrach. We all love you. You are a awesome friend to every one of us here on this awesome site.
Sorry About your Mother, Shadrach. I lost my Mother a few years ago, and my father before that. The death of my Mother bothered me very much. It is a most difficult time.
Shadrach, So sorry about your mom. I just found this post this afternoon. Hugs to you and your family.
