I pray this is true. He needs to be indicted!
Conservatives in the House are preparing a document to impeach Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and could file the document as early as Monday, Politico reported Friday afternoon, citing conservative sources on Capitol Hill.
Though it appears House conservatives are seriously ramping up their efforts to boot Rosenstein, the timing of the impeachment filing and the level of support for it among the rest of the GOP caucus are not entirely clear. House Freedom Caucus members Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), two of Rosenstein’s most vocal critics, are leading the effort.
Rosenstein has long been a target of conservatives in Congress unhappy with special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe. Most recently, House Republicans have balked at the Justice Department’s pace in turning over sensitive documents related to the Russia probe to Republicans on Capitol Hill.
This is why the left is going after Jim Jordan so badly.
There is no collusion! Rod Rosenstein said not once but TWICE:
FEBRUARY: “There is no allegation in this indictment that any American had any knowledge.”
TODAY: “There is no allegation [in indictment] that any American committed a crime.”
Democrats deceived the American ppl!
I hope that just for once, the conservatives in congress follow through and impeach that little swamp dweller Rosenstein. He is part of the problem. I remember Jeff Sessions saying that if Rosentein is forced out, he will go too. So be it. So tired of the dog and pony show and sputtering from congress, threatening this action or that one, and yet almost nothing is ever done.
I'm with you, Kwic. I am so sick and tired of this all too. If Jim Jordan has his way, they will all be indicted. Rosenstein, Comey and Strozk are the 3 I despise the most, right after Obama and Hillary. I'd lock them all in solitary confinement for the rest of their lives.
Sounds about right to me.
This makes me laugh so much.
Rosenstein not smiling anymore after House Republican’s spotted with his impeachment docs.
Politico’s sources confirmed that Meadows was seen on the House floor with Rosenstein’s impeachment documents Friday afternoon at the same time that the deputy attorney general was announcing new indictments in Mueller’s case.
“It has not been filed today,” Meadows spokesman said to Politico, though he reportedly didn’t rule out the possibility of the documents being filed as early as new week.
Even Rosenstein’s announcement of indictments against 12 Russian operatives was seen as sketchy by some, given as its timing coincided with President Donald Trump’s historic meeting with Queen Elizabeth.
