~ Where the Sun Will Never Set on Our liberty ~
This is one of the better speeches I’ve heard about Americans’ right to own a firearm. Give it a look, because the man who delivered the speech had me cheering him on.
Greensboro, N.C. resident Mark Robinson addressed the Greensboro City Council Tuesday night during a meeting about gun violence and how to control it.
Robinson’s speech speaks for itself, so here it is: https://www.mrctv.org/blog/nc-man-delivers-powerful-speech-defendin...
How powerful was that?! The correct answer to that question is very.
Perhaps the best quote in Robinson’s entire speech was when he talked about how persecuted “law-abiding citizens” have become.
“The law-abiding citizens of this community — and many communities around this country — we’re the first ones taxed and the last ones considered and the first ones punished when things like this [mass shootings] happens,” Robinson passionately said.
I literally couldn’t have said it better myself.
That man gave an awesome speech! I agree with everything he said, except the part if laws were passed to remove our guns from us, he would turn in his weapons to the authorities. I would not comply. I would hope that millions of us would not comply as well.
I would not turn mine in either, Kwic.
That is good to know Robin. My former brother-in-law said that he would turn in all of his weapons if laws were passed that we do so. He is former navy, so that surprised me.
That really surprises me as well, Kwic! Wow.
They're doing all the can
Boy oh boy, they sure are doing all they can to get the guns. Disturbing!
Boulder City Council gives assault-weapons ban initial OK after marathon hearing.
Robin, there were more against the ban than for the ban in that city council meeting, yet the city council voted in favor of the ban. Our republic form of government has become more of a Kakistocracy-Rule by the stupid; a system of governance where the worst or least-qualified citizens govern or dictate policies....
They don't care at all. They will stop at nothing to ban guns and do away with the 2nd Amendment!
When they pass a law to ban guns, I will agree to give mine up. When they come to get them, those guns won't be found.
I'm with you on this JB!
