~ Where the Sun Will Never Set on Our liberty ~
Hello everyone,
This is just some food for thought.
God bless.

Hi JG,
First, Beck apologized for the mistake he made. He then went on to explain that his observations led to the mistake, and not the other way around as well as what those observations were.
God bless.
I must admit, I made the same mistake as Beck did!
When I saw that tweet saying Trump voted for Obama I re-tweeted it! I did it without realizing that the (blue verified account checkmark) was missing! It is an easy mistake to make and I have been on twitter since 2009. Once I realized it wasn't Trumps verified account, I immediately deleted my re-tweet! So, Beck made an honest mistake and owned up to it!
Robin, I don't have a Twitter account so the blue check didn't mean anything to me. The fact the 'delete' option was visible did mean something to me. That option would only appear to the one that owned the account. I guess being an admin, in one form or another for so many years, made that stand out to me. However, I did not notice that until it was pointed out, but I really wasn't looking very closely at it initially. Sometimes we all make the mistake of just trusting the source. Sometimes stuff just happens.
I should know better being on Twitter for so long. Oh well. Mistakes happens. It's what we do to correct those mistakes that count!
Hello Brentonjoe,
Whether you like Beck or not has nothing to do with the remarks he made, nor does it have anything to do with the facts he presented.
"The most appalling was when he dipped Obama bobble head in his own urine on National Television. This is not Christian behavior."
I would agree with your assessment there if that had ever happened, but it did not. I saw the segment you are referring to, and it was not among my favorites. However, this also has nothing to do with the remarks he made, nor the facts he presented. I have no idea if I would be deemed a "sincere conservative", but I do know that, in this, I am correct.
God bless.
Here is the link to what was referenced above:

I like the first comment on that video you posted:
"This is why your show barely has 10,000 subscribers, and Glenn reaches 50 million people through interned subscriptions and satellite television. He made a valid point and you can't seem to understand. You need to evaluate your life."
If you had just gone to the link I gave you, you could have looked at the whole thing for yourself. So for those of you who just do not want to look at the link I provided so you know what you're even talking about, I will copy the write-up from the Blaze via the above link. Either that or you can believe "sincere conservatives" from Huffpo.
"On Monday, TheBlaze alerted readers to a new painting that depicts Barack Obama as Jesus Christ crucified, adorned with a crown of thorns. The work, entitled “Truth,” is part of a larger exhibit at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery in Boston titled “Artists on the Stump – the Road to the White House 2012.” This, of course, is not the first controversial rendition that has been labeled “artwork,” nor is it the first time President Obama has been likened to Christ, or in general, God.
Now, the creator of “Truth,” Michael D’Antuono, said that his “First Amendment rights should override someone’s hurt feelings” and that “we should celebrate the fact that we live in a country where we are given the freedom to express ourselves.”
After receiving roughly 4,000 angry emails over the painting, D’Antuono also said he respects “their right to express themselves” and hopes they will afford him the same.
With this in mind, Glenn Beck chose to exercise his First Amendment rights and “express himself,” during his Tuesday evening broadcast by featuring a piece of artwork of his own.
At some point, Beck decided that submerging an Obama “bobblehead” doll in “urine” (at first the liquid was thought to be beer, but it was later revealed to be water with food coloring) was necessary to convey his message. He of course realizes this will be controversial and that many will find his use of the Obama figurine to be disrespectful. The idea, for Beck however, is not to be untoward, but through irony, to highlight the hypocrisy of those who would shout in defiance at defacing the image of a sitting U.S. president, but not that of an image so sacred to Christianity — the world’s largest religion. In other words, Beck sought to reveal how he truly adheres to the U.S. Constitution where the Left often does not.
Beck supported D’Antuono’s Constitutional right to create and display his art even if it is considered highly disrespectful to Christianity. The main point Beck hoped to convey through his controversial display with the Obama bobblehead, was to highlight that through the U.S. Constitution, an artist does have the freedom to display whatever his or her heart desires, however offensive that “art” may be to others.
Of course, Beck’s “art” is also similar to the infamous anti-Christian photograph titled “Piss Christ,” showing a small plastic crucifix soaked in the artist’s real urine."
This is over 3 years old man. Three years! I would suggest listening a little less to those "sincere conservatives", and start doing some follow up yourself.
Brentonjoe,
In something completely unrelated to what was initially posted, you stated:
"The most appalling was when he dipped Obama bobble head in his own urine on National Television. This is not Christian behavior."
I told you that I had actually saw what you were referencing, and that it was not what really happened. I further stated that it was not among my favorite segments, and provided you with a link so you could read for yourself that it was not "his own urine". The link I provided also explained why he did what he did, and the point he was trying to illustrate.
I don't have to go back and research a damn thing. I know what was said, and unlike you, I knew it was not real urine. Furthermore, I frankly do not care what some pastors or "sincere conservatives" say about it. With all the damn things going on in this country, if people really want to be all bent out of shape and appalled by someone sticking a plastic doll in colored water then by all means go be appalled.
I am probably not "salt of the earth" either, but I also do not harbor ill will over something for three damn years that didn't even happen, and then be too lazy to go look at it for myself, especially when the information is spoon fed to me either. Just sayin'.
It's amusing how these things continually happen. Trump can say and do all manner of things, and so many don't care when it is pointed out. However, many of these same people will not forgive the trespasses of others even when they are only perceived trespasses. I get so damn sick of this type of crap! This country needs help! Salt of the earth...
I watched/heard the 'apology', Rah...and the case Beck laid out has me convinced that Trump did indeed vote for the anointed one.
You and I both Jodi.
